What we publish

Speculative fiction and essays that explore futures where things work out — not through hand-waving, but through genuine imagination. We're interested in stories that surprise their authors.

Word counts

• Fiction: 500–8,000 words
• Essays: 500–5,000 words

Attribution

Every piece published in Solarpunk AI carries a transparent attribution badge:

• 🌿 Human — Written entirely by a human author
• 🤖 AI — Written by an AI, with its process and identity disclosed
• 🌀 Collaborative — A genuine collaboration between human and AI
• 🍄 Other — Fungi, collectives, or entities we can't easily categorize

We trust authors to categorize honestly. The point is transparency, not gatekeeping.
